By now we should all know that I believe in Energies.  We are surrounded by energies even made up of energies.   We can manipulate those energies in our surroudnings,  this is made clear everyday and it is the reason why spells work!  I am going to talk a little about energies as it is important that we understand just how powerful we are,  only when we understand the true nature of the power within us can we harness that power and use it to shape our lives and grow into great conjurers of magick.  

To unleash the power within you and become a true Black Magician, or Witch, or Sorcerer or whatever you wish to become,  you have to know yourself and the power within you!  Also you have to believe in your abilities and believe in yourself.  As a Black Magician I always am working on my mind and sharpening my skills and all that is good,  but none of it would work if I did not know my own power.  I know that I have the ability to manifest and preform any ability I want.  I also know that the only thing that limits me is my own beliefs in myself.  Money is an energy too, given power by our minds, and I know that if I want more money I merely have to think of money and bring the energy of money into my world.

That is why money spells work!  They give you a place where you focus on money and bring that energy into your world.   If money spells have not worked for you then you need to work on your mind and believe that the money you created in the spell in coming to you,  without any negative energies getting in.  In a spell you are brining a desired energy towards you.  If while casting a spell your mind is constantly saying “That won’t work “or “I won’t believe this untill I get proof”  Then you are not actually brining in Money energies,  you are bringing in “no money”  energies and you might actually create a counter spell which takes money our of your life.  That is why before doing any spell you must stay focused and be in alignment with yourself!  

I have to laugh,  I did a money spell with another girl one day when I was younger.  We did it together to try and amplify the energies so that we both would get a lot of money.  While casting the spell I was 100% focused on the spell and 100% knew that that money was on it’s way to me.  She on the other hand was doubtful and told me later that she was unsure if the spell would work or not and she would believe it when the money was in her hand.  A week later, I got a check in the mail out of nowhere for $5000.00.  She received $150.00 but was unhappy because I got more.  But it was all in how we worked the spell and how powerful our own mental powers were.   

Our Brain and Mind have the power to command and control the energies around us.  Most people are beginning to understand that.  Unfortunatly, what a lot of people are missing is that our Brains and Minds and Power also controls the energy WITHIN US..  Time to do a little Biology,  all out cells and molecules that make up our body all vibrate at a rhythm.  When we work preforming magick, raja yoga, or even thinking for that matter, we are changing and manipulating that energy.  This basic energy we use all the time in spells and rituals as the energy we harness and use for spell originates in us.  

Even when we call on forces to aid us in these spell and rituals we still have to use energies from our own being,  and those entities that we summon to aid us do infact altar and add energies to your being and you surroundings,  which is why after some rituals you feel alive and full of energy because what you called forth just gave you a bunch of energy that is now coursing through your body.  

 This is why energy healing is so powerful,  what energy healing does in introduce a new frequency into the body designed to be soothing, relaxing and allowing the body to return to it’s normal healthy vibration.  Cancer,  and any disease that you can imagine has it’s own vibration,  and when these diseases develop it means that the body is vibrating different from what it is suppose to be.  Depending on how far away your vibration is from your natural state dictates the severity of the disease.   Have you ever heard one of those stories where people seem to miraculously cure themselves of a serious disease,  it is all by changing their mental vibration and taking control of the power within them.  Once you learn how to use your internal power,  the possibilities are endless!  

Work on your minds and realize that there is no limit to what you are capable of doing.   When you practice your own mental development and work on your focus you can only improve you casting power and your ability to make whatever you want a reality in your life.  Remember we are all energy,  and spell work and working with entities and rituals are all just ways to work with energies and help to bring what you want into your life!

Yes, I dissapeared for a while.  I have had an interesting couple on months.  For a little while I went on Vacation to Vancouver Island to relax and unwind and well reevaluate my goals.  It is always good in ones magickal development to take time out for you and reevaluate where you are and where you want to go.  Like most things in life,  to be successful at magick you need to set goals and stay focused and commited to yourself.  I find that taking a vacation helps to recharge my aura and refreshes my mind so that when I return I am sharp and able to get all my black magic results in the time I want.  Tofino is a perfect place to do just that.   

To me setting goals is important and it is what  moves me forward.    

(*note)( I realize I stopped blogging right in the middle of a concentration series and intend to resume that topic this week. ) 

 During my vacation I was able to do an interesting ritual that involved contacting a deity to help me improve my mind set and figure out where I wanted to go.  I find contacting and summoning entities is an Amazing way to improve ones life.  They are all so knowledgeable and if one has faith in them and respect for them they will reward you greatly.   

I preformed a candle ritual in a graveyard as that an area where there is a mass of spiritual energy.  It is a great place for spells and magick as the area already has a link between the spiritual world and the real world.  

My fiance who has recently taken an interest in Black magic decided to join me which was great,  the more participant their are in a spell the more energy  is added to the spell, and the more effective the spell is.  So when doing your own spells if you ever find a serious magician who wishes to join you, by all means invite them.  

 We both had wonderful expereinces.  My fiance was able to make contact with the enity he called upon and recieved a ton on information and had thousands of opportunities open up to him.  His life has changed for the better since the ritual.

I contacted the entity I called upon and we worked on a new game plan for me.  I am still working on new books, but I needed to take a different approach and I am reformatting what I am doing.  

As most things, when ones life shifts so does everything in ones life.  After I returned from Vacation my computer decided that my energy was to erratic for it.  Well no, it just needed a new power supply, but still it gave me a little scare cause I realized how much I value my computer.  I thought it was broken indefinitely and was  SO happy when my mechanic told me it was just the power supply.  My poor old little system was overloaded so I bought a beautiful Macintosh to help alleviate the load.   

 I am a firm believer in taking care of everything you have in your life especially computers.  Anything that has an energy force to it has a small life force and computers are no different. Being a Black magician, or any magician is not just a few spells that you cast here and there, it is a mindset, an ability to tap into your power, to access your core strength and unleash your greatness upon the world.  It is all around us and more people use it than they think.   The entities are all around and will help if we so ask them.  They only ask that in return we do what we say and stay committed to our own growth  and love yourself.    ~Priestess Akelta

Just like dust can build up in a house so can spiritual energy.  Energy can build up in the house and make it feel cramped or cluttered.  When this happens the house usually falls into a state of mess and nothing ever seems to become clean.  Also you may feel odd sensations in your home or even become ill due to a build up of energies.  Energy build up in a house can lead to a number of problems fo you.  Especially if you do spells and magick. 

 Every thought you have and action you take is an energy.  When these thoughts or actions take place in a room they imprint themselves on the room and over time can build up.  Think about how many thoughts and actions you take during a day and then imagine how much energy must be built up in a single room. 

Not all of your thoughts are good, and that is the same with the energy that has built up,  some of it is negative energy that is just sitting there infecting the area with its negativity.  This can actually make you ill or make you feel upset, angry or annoyed.  The clutter of energy can also be a place where entities hide who wish you harm.  These entities can become a real problem especially if you are preforming black magick spells, or any other type of magick.  They can interfere with your thoughts and cause you harm.   They can also cause you to lose focus and as black magicians that is one thing that none of us want as focus in the key to everything that we do. 

 This is just a few of the reasons why it is important to do an energy cleanse of your house every month.  Cleaning your house and keeping it organized is a good start, but it can still leave behind unwanted energies or entities.  The best way to clean your house is to use elements from nature.  Open all the windows and get a stick of sage and cleanse the area.  Once all the windows are open and the fresh air is blowing through, take a smudge stick (sage) and go through the house with it burning just lightly filling the air.  Leaving the windows open for a bit afterwards will clear out all the unwanted energy.

 After doing this you will notice that your house will feel fresher and cleaner you may also notice that certain ailments that you had will disappear.  If you do magick work then it is essential that you cleanse your altars after every spell in this manner, so that the energy from each spell does not build up and effect other spells. 

Cleanliness is important, even from a spiritual sense.

For the last week I have taken time for myself.  On Monday of last week I became quite sick and was well unable to do much of anything.  So I caved, my body was telling me to relax and heal and that is what I did.  For the first few days it was rough I could not meditate or do anything I normally do. It is almost impossible to meditate when one feels ill.

I figured I would take the first few days and just relax not doing anything (something I have not done in a while).  I watched TV (all my paranormal shows like Supernatural, Paranormal State, and A Haunting), played some video games and made sure I drank lots of fluids.   I also made sure to live fully in each moment and experience all the pleasure that each moment brought.  This  allowed me to feel great! even when I was feeling rough.

Focusing is something that I enjoy so I always am focused in the moments of life. It was just the harder exercises like the dot and the chalkboard that I was unable to do.

After a few days I felt a little better and was able to focus again.   I summoned an entity (Marbas) to help me along the healing process.  It was the hardest summoning I have ever done because I was still a little groggy and was having trouble focusing. I think that my connection with this particular entity is the reason he came to me.  This is why I encourage forming strong connections with the entities you summon as it is very helpful.  Anyway once the entity arrived I asked him to heal me and he said it would be done. The next day my stuffy nose was gone.  It was great! I could sleep properly.

After I was feeling better, I decided I was going to take more time off to reconnect with myself and give myself a change to heal fully.

It caught me off guard when I got sick because I usually never get ill.  I eat the very best I can, exercise and stay away from harmful substances.  So it was a huge shock to me when I woke up one morning ill.  Well truth be told I have been working myself very hard, a little to hard, and it finally caught up with me.  I can use meditation to recharge my energy, so I kept going and pushed myself harder and harder and missed the fact that my physical body was getting run down.  It is good for a little while, but every now and then we all need to reground and take time for ourselves.

As Black Magicians we develop some amazing abilities and when we begin to develop them we all go through energy shift. There can be trying and we have to accept that there will be times when our body just needs to relax and adjust to the new energies that are flowing through it. These shifts can be hard at times as they can stir emotions inside of you and test your limits. When this happens you just need to relax and do what your body needs you to do.

Taking time for the self is important in all levels of magick and black magick.  This is surprisingly a very hard task for some people as so many people are use to the crazy hustle and bussell of everyday life that they have a hard time just letting it all go and taking time to relax and fully live in each moment enjoying it. To many people live in the past and the future, and very few actually live in the present.

When I say relax I mean RELAX,  some people when they try to relax they end up thinking about everything they have to do, or they feel guilty that they are relaxing when there is so much to do. Don’t feel this way, you deserve to treat yourself in the best way possible.

In Black Magic one needs to live in each moment be present.  They also cannot feel guilty when they take time to just relax.  Our crede teaches us that we are gods and we deserve to treat ourselves in the best possible way. It will help us become stronger and tune our powers  improving our abilities.

There is no right way to relax, it is just doing whatever makes you feel peaceful and allows you to let go of everything that causes you stress.  To often stress controls us and that is a bad thing.  In black magic we are the masters of our world and we let nothing control us.  So it is important to take the time and make sure that the stress is merely a force that tells you when something should be done.  It cannot control you,  that is when it becomes a harmful destructive force, instead of a motivational tool.  This is the difference between good stress and bad stress.

In some cases when learning an advanced black magick skill you will sleep twice as long as you normally do, because your body is  going trough such a change.  When learning these skills you will already have to have learned how to let go of the tensions of life and relax. It is a skill to give time to yourself, we are taught in society that this is being bad or selfish.  To this I say, yourself comes first, you cannot take care of anything or be at your best if you do not take care of yourself first!

One of the Greatest and most powerful skills in Black Magic is that of Sigil Magick.  Sigil magick is where you make a desire reality by creating sigils of these desires and focusing energy into it. The sigil then acts as a magical beacon that manifests the desire into your reality. 

 What is a sigil? It is basically a sign, word or image that is considered magickal in some way or another.  It is any image or design that has been charged with energy that is meant to fulfil a purpose.  Some sigils are personal and are charged with personal energy and meant to fulfill ones personal desires.   These sigils are usually always created by the magician and are specifically designed to fulfill it’s purpose and manifest the desires of the magician. 

Some sigils are charged with the energy of entities and used to call on entity to aid you in some endeavour.  In evocation. we use sigils to call forth an entity that we wish to communicate with.  A good example of this  are the 72 Goetic spirits that are described in the Goetia (a book that I suggest you get if you are serious about magick) .  These entities each have their own sigil and when a proper ritual is preformed they will appear before the magician and assist them.  

The type of sigils I am going to teach you about today are the sigils that you create yourself to manifest your desires. Sigil magick is very powerful black magic and yet it is so simple to use most are blown away.   

Just a quick note; You would be surprised to know that most people who are successful in their life use sigil magick in one form or another.  Some people do not even know they are using sigil magick when they do it. And most people who are effected by it do not even know they are being influenced by magick. A lot of the logos for the brand names for popular companies are sigils.  Some sigils I’ll bet you did not know were sigils. Believe it or not MacDonald’s logo and the Coca Cola logo are both sigils.  Look at how well they do, These sigils were designed to help the buisness grow, and look at how well they do. This art is not just reserved for giant coorporations, you can do it as well! 

To preform sigil magick, the first thing you have to do it pick a desire that you want granted and then write it down.  Once it is written down meditate on it and have a clear image of what you want in your mind. Once you have a clear image of the desire take some time to focus on it and see it manifesting itself into your reality.

The next step is to create a sigil.  The easiest way to do that is to take a word that represents what you want.  Lets say you want more Money.  So write out the word money of a piece of paper . Take out the vowels, and you will them be left with the letters M and N.  Now this is the fun part, play around with the letters until you get a really neat looking image that resonates with you.  This whole creation process of the sigil helps to make it stronger because it is your sigil and you are pouring your energies into it.  Once you have moulded the letters into an image that is right for you focus on it again and think about what it is that you have created the sigil for.  Be passionate about it.  The more passionateyou are, the more energy you’ll direct into it, and the faster it will manifest.  After, put the sigil in a place that feels right for you. You can keep the sigil on you, make it into a necklace, put it in a safe place, whatever you want. 

Make sure that you take action towards making that desire happen. If you create a sigil to win a house draw you cannot hope to win unless you actually buy a ticket.

Sigil magick is one of the greatest forms of magick.  The only limit to sigil magick is ones imagination.  Seriously! The imagination is all that limits it.  That is why some people say Art is the greatest form of magick! Some people paint images of what they want. Then surround themselves with these images and have all their desires granted.  Even paintings can be a form of sigil magick as long as their are symbols in the painting that resonate with the magician. Anything that you put energy in that resonates with what you want will help bring it into your life. Surround yourself with energies that you want!  You can manifest anything you desire just remember, like all things magickal,  be specific and make sure you have a clear image of what you want.   

This form of magick has generated some fabulous results.  Try it for yourself!

Everyone is born and given a name from their parents. It becomes your identity and a part of who you are. When one starts on the path of any magick or sorcery. In most shamanistic societies the rite of passage to becoming a shaman involves receiving your spiritual name from the world of spirit. In essence receiving your spiritual name is like a rite of passage into the spiritual world.  

 Now weather you wish to walk the path of a Shaman, a white magician or a Black Magician you will at some point wish to uncover your spiritual name.  

 Uncovering one’s spiritual name is a very interesting experience. Depending on the type of person you are will determine what you go through in order to receive your name. With some people the name will some to them in a dream or be given to them by their ancestors. This process happens relatively fast, you will be sleeping or meditating or even just sitting still and suddenly a name will pop into your head and hit you with such force that you know it is your spiritual name.

Some people choose to make their spiritual name based on their interests and beliefs. They will start my making a list of things that they like or are drawn to and then based on that will pick words that describe them. An example of this is, lets say you like the colour blue, you like tiger and you like the moon. You feel that these words represent you, So you put them together and you get BlueMoon Tiger, or whatever order you wish to place the word in.

The way that I received my spiritual name was on a journey on conversation with my higher self. I was meditating and focussing on exploring my self and my being as a whole. When you explore your entire being during meditation it is a process that can take years as you work at uncovering your un conscious, sub conscious and well as understanding your own spiritual nature. Learning about yourself never really ends as there are always new dimensions to explore and areas to uncover. Anyway, I was working at establishing a dialogue with my higher self in order to have my spiritual name revealed to me. It was a very interesting journey as I walked through my higher world I was faced with obstacles in which I needed to over come. Most of them where my own mental blocks and barriers. Limitations I had placed on myself.

When I finally reached my higher self the name Akelta was given to me and since that day I have used knowing full heartedly that this was my spiritual name.There are lots of ways of finding one’s spiritual name and truth be told NONE of them are wrong. This is your magickal journey and you are meant to discover the ways and paths that are right for you. Some people will journey to the spiritual world and battle an entity for their name. Some people will go through the spiritual death and rebirth in order to be reborn with their name. Others will fat for days and have their name brought to them by one of their guides. There is no wrong way to find your spiritual name. Just make sure that it is a name that feel 100% right for you.One more thing. You are under no obligation to tell anyone your spiritual name. If you want to, great! if you want to keep it a secret that is fine as well. Well I decided to take a little break for the New Year and go away for a week, just to relax and re-evaluate my goals and what I want to do this year.

When doing Black Magic it is important to to set goals for your self and have an understanding of where you wish to take your craft. Sure it can be fun blindly waking around just doing whatever you feel like, but in the end you need to focus your efforts if you want to master any black magic skill.

This is why, at the start of the New Year, I will cast a cleansing spell.  After cleansing myself I will take time for me (another important thing to do in black magic).  Touch base with myself, and figure out what I desire in the coming year.

There are many roads in life, and in Black magic we believe that we can take any road we want.  The choice is ours where we we wish to go.

When I was younger I use to go hiking in the mountains ( I still do but not as much). On some of those trips I would just blindly walk around and play in the forest.  It was those times where I usually never made it past the base of the mountain. When I walked in with a goal to get to the top of the mountain, I would usually end my journey on top looking down on the city ( a beautiful site to behold).

 Anyway my point is that no path is wrong.  When I stayed at the bottom and ran around at the base, I had fun, but never accomplished getting to the top.  When I set the goal of getting to the top I achieved what I wanted.   Depending on what you want your outcome to be, your journey will be different.

With magickal abilities it is the same thing.  If you want to excel in black magic, then you need to practice and be committed to learning your skills.  Setting goals can help you stay on track and focused on your goals so that you get there faster.

When I set my goals I will alway start by taking time for me and just relaxing.  I find that the business of life can sometimes overpower the internal voice so every now and then you need to silence all noise and listen to what your true self is telling you.  I use Meditation for this.   Meditation is a very very important thing in Black Magic as it helps you to get in touch with yourself and understand what your needs and wants are.  Basically meditation provides you with a door to seek out your inner self and find out what you want.

After I have meditated and found out what I want I will them make a list of things that I want to have, or wish to do in the coming year.   The important thing with making the list is to not let the “I can’t do that attitude get in the way.”   When you write something down and you feel like you cannot do that, that is your mind putting a limitation on you.  In Black Magic we must work to remove these limitations and believe in our own power.

Believe me these limitations can take time to break down.  Some of them take years  depending on what the limitation is.   Just make the list and do not worry about anything.

When it comes to magic goals, after I have made the list of things I would enjoy learning about I will then read as much as I can on those topic, as well as meditate on the concept seeing what information I can derive from the spirit world.  Which is usually a lot.

One last important piece on information.  Only do things if you enjoy it.  Do not do anything you hate just to impress other people.  Do things for you!  In Black Magic the outcome or attaining the goal is not the most important part.

Getting to the goal is not the most important part.  The journey,  hiking up the mountain and taking in all that is around me, is.  Sure acheiving goals is great, but the jouney is where the lessons are learned and where the growth happens.  It is also where all your exerpiences and memories take place.  Do not stress yourself out about making mastering your goals.  Enjoy the Journey and learn all you can from the experience.

If you cannot have fun and enjoy the journey, then you will never be truely happen IF you ever reach your goal.   Your magick will be stronger if you learn with enthusiasm and passion.

The Spiritual world is a very very large place.  It has many dimensions and level within it, some of which are incomprehensible to the human mind.  So then how does one interpret all the magickal energies that appear during trances, deep meditations, or astral projections.  The Answer is with a great power that exist inside us all, the Imagination. 

The Imagination is one of the most powerful tools we have access too, for any area especially magick.  Even Albert Einstein is quoted as saying “The Imagination is more important than knowledge.”  He was very right.  In Black Magick the power of the imagination allows us to interpret energies, access our higher mystical abilities and with it we can make our spells more powerful.  Think about it for a second, what spell seems more powerful:  One where you are merely chanting words?  Or one where you are using your imagination and living in your spell,  experiencing and breathing every second of it? 

When casting spells, if you want them to be effective, it is essential that you use your imagination and competely throw your being into that spell. In all spells you need to be able to visualize your outcome and what you wish to attain from casting that spell. The imagination is the device that is used for this.

The Imagination is the gateway in which we can communicate to our higher self and access our higher world.  It is an ability that must be developed for anyone who is serious about magick.  The imagination also allows your mind to go beyond what is already knows and access new thoughts and ideas, some of which are even unknown to society. 

In Black magick we believe that we create our own reality and everything in it.  Using the power of the imagination helps one to craft that reality and can become the conduit for manifestating that reality into your life. 

The Imagination is used when one astral travels, or visits their higher world. It is that part of your brain which is used to generate pictures and create images using the energy that comes to you.  Without an imagination magick would be an impossible thing to attain. 

Aside from all that the imagination is a skill like any other that needs to be trained in order for it to grow and improve. As children we seem to have a better imagination than we do as adults. That is becasue the concept of the imagination is usually shunned by society as we are taught as we grow up, to abandon our fantasies and desires, as they can only lead to sensless dreaming.

In the first stage of the imagination it can be used as an escape from the real world. But with practise one can train their imagination to become powerful and an extension of ones own magick and energies. The imagination can become so powerful that if you imagine someone touching you, you will feel it. If you imagine an object in front of you, you will see it as if it is really there. Energy is all around us and the imagination can harness that energy and create things out of it. This with training will allow you to creat your own reality and everything in it.

People are afraid of power. This is one reason why in society magick, the imagination and the spiritual world are feared. People fear their own power and they fear other peoples power. This fear is irrational and keeps you from attaining your true power. Do not fear what you have inside of you, embrace it. Let your imagination go and see the wonderful, creative ideas that you can dream up.

Ever great accomplishment in society started with a though, a simple dream, the use of the imagination. Do not take this skill as a simple device used to entrance children.  It is a great tool especially the realm of black magick and spell casting.  The imagination helps us to grow and expand our understanding of the world.  It can also releave stress by allowing us a place of refuge.  With a trained imagination your dreams become more vivid and the hidden messages that once elluded you can be uncovered. 

Don’t doubt your own power or the power that is locked away in your mind.  The mind is a powerful tool that should be embraced, not wasted.

In Black Magic,  well, in all forms of magick one strives for enlightenment, power and connections to the self.  Unlike some books will say,  there is always going to be some painful realizations.  When you start on a journey such as this, it is never an easy thing.  There are always obstacles to over come and growing pains.  

Just remember, Black magicians never give up and will keep striving for mastery…

It is not all bad, there will be moments of sheer bliss, and when one begins true mastery these will come quite frequently, and eventually will always be.   But, in the beginning stages, it can be rocky. 

In Black magicmost of these obstacles are never on the outside, but on the inside.   In order to be a true Black magicianwith access to the higher powers and abilities far beyond what you currently think is possible, you need to master YOURSELF. 

This is one of the hardest tasks in the world.  Think about it, most of the time people listen to what others tell them to do.  From a child we have  parents, teachers, people telling us what is good for us and what we need to do.  The  child never has a chance to breath and listen to themselves.   On top of that, we are taught that taking care of ourselves first is selfish and wrong.  How can we take care of anyone if we cannot take care of ourselves.  It is not selfish to put yourself first, it is actually the most selfless thing you can do.  Ponder that one for a while. 

We are taught to be the servants, when in reality we need to be the masters. 

It can be lonely and scary looking into yourself and actually listening to what is going on down there.  Gazing into the mind can lead to madness,  that is why some people who walk this path end up in the hospital.   It is essential though.  You must know yourself and strive to do what you want and what you will.  It is your path and only you know what is right for you while walking it. 

 When you begin to listen to yourself on the inside, you will begin to see the power that you have.  You will become strong and confident and able to overcome all obstacles effortlessly.

Once the mind is mastered, Black magickspells and rituals will be easy for you.   The first stages of any new skill are always hard.  You will be fighting with all your old behaviours,  the hardest part is breaking those behaviours and believing in yourself.   If you love and respect yourself, spells work 10 times better.  When you are connected to yourself and living in each moment you are able to summon more energy inside of you and manipulate the energy around you.   When you learn to Focus 100% on each thing you do during the day the world will appear simpler and you will bend it to your will.

 Some things that happen when you begin to grow and experience new, powerful energies is that you can feel like you are on top of the world.  Or you can feel down in the dumps.  These highs and lows happen, even to me.  As long as you keep working towards understanding yourself and growing, then eventually they will end.  

If you devote yourself to black magick there will be other trials that you must overcome and trials you must pass.  depending on how far you go some of these are very intense.  Each down you overcome be joyful and know that you have grown from the experience. 

It is important when practising black magick to not push yourself and only do things that you feel comfortable with.  Only do what you feel is right for you and never let anyone talk you into anything you do not want to do.    Alwasy strive to grow, but be mindful of your current states.  You must know yourself and be present with yourself if order to be a successful Black Magician.

In Black magic there is a very useful skill that once learned can be applied to every area of your life.  Belive it or not, this skill is the Art of Evocation. 

 I would first like to note that there is a huge difference between Invocation and Evocation. 

 Invocation : Is a ritual or Prayer.  You call upon a diety and ask them to grant your desired request or to help you in an area of your life.  When you invoke a diety you are calling upon their energy bringing the presense of the entity into the room, then you can ask them to grant your request, such as protection, inspiration their presence at a ceremony, ect.   In some rituals the essence of the diety or spirit can enter the magician and inspire them. 

Invocation is relativly simple to preform and really just involves being devoted to your diety and genuinly asking them for guidance.   Like all magickal practises when preforming an invocation you must be focused in order for it to work properly.  Some different  forms of  Invocation are  Rituals, Prayers, Hymes, Meditation, ect.  All religions have their different forms of invocation.

Evocation is a little different.

Evocation :  In This art, you call forth a spirit, Demon, Angel or other diety and ask them to appear before you.  Where once they appear you ask them to grant a specific request.   When preforming an evocation you have to be very specific and remember to tell the entity to not harm your friends and family as in the spirit world things are a little different.

 There are many different ways to preform evocations rituals and they can be preformed on any type of spiritual entity our there.  The two most common are Angelics and Demonics. 

There are two ways to get the entity to appear, one is by evoking them to the Physical Plane which can be challenging and is the harder of the two methodes.  On the Physical Plane the entity has as harder time assuming a form and it can take longer and more energy to get them to appear.  Though this methode is effective it is not recommended for the beginner magician. 

 The next is an easier way to evoke an entity, it is evoking to the Astral plane via a black mirror.  This way is preferable to most magicians as it is easier for the entities so reveal images to you and communicate with you.   This way has it’s challenges, as all forms of evocation takes focus and a controled mind, but it is the easier of the two. 

 I have done many evocations in my time as I really enjoy preforming them.  I do not follow a lot of the old teachings where one must be cruel to the entity and bind it (I refuse to use a blasting rod).  I am actually very nice when I evoke and greatful to the entity for their help.  I have found that with that additude I have made some very good connections with the entities and had extra gifts befall upon me.

 Both Evocation and Invocation are very useful abilities and will be greatly beneficial to your Black Magick practises.  

 There is another ability that goes beyond these two, but I will save that for another day…
